1st Annual McKee Fairy Festival 2011
Welcome to the 1st annual Fairy festival at McKee Botanical gardens in Vero Beach, Fl! Stroll the gardens, enjoy the fairies, create a fairy house of your own, let the young ones get their faces painted, get a manicure, and read Dr. Seuss along the way. We saw many little fairies and some mommy fairies on our visit. Everyone seemed to be having a great afternoon. A café in the gardens has refreshments, and a shop offers garden themed gifts and souvenirs. A movie, games, costume contest, and ballet of sleeping beauty completed the activities. Water lilies, ginger, and hibiscus were in full bloom! We hope to return next year! For members, it’s free, and for others, it’s the standard admission of $9.
