3rd Annual Treasure Coast Pirate Fest

3rd Annual Treasure Coast Pirate Fest

Welcome to the Pirate Invasion!  Downtown Stuart became the playground of Pirates!  Vendors selling Pirate ware, art, clothing, music, food, and Pirate demonstrations provided an afternoon of fun!  There was even a Pirate rap group, rapping about the Jolly Roger!  The West Coast Mutineers gave firing demonstrations, with various guns of the period, and even fired cannon!  Grace O’Malley is quite the Buccaneer leader!  The Mutineers also demonstrated the Fight Circle, where the pirates settle their differences.  Quite an athletic competition! The Amazing Kenny, who is really amazing, was on hand with his glass balls and juggling!  We always appreciate his talent!   Pirates roamed the streets, including one with a pet rat and one with fox tails.  We even saw a pirate dog!   We met some friends, tasted a wonderful soft shell crab sandwich, and enjoyed the atmosphere.  Admission is free, but they did ask for donations for the troops!  Pirates are patriotic, too! This was a fun, although hot and steamy afternoon, and close to home.  The fest was all weekend!  Arr!
