3rd Annual Oktoberfest, Stuart, FL
Prosit! Welcome to the Oktoberfest! German music, folk dancing, foods, traditional clothing, and beer added up to an enjoyable afternoon. Tapping the keg and a parade of flags opened the festivities. Crafters offered shopping for clothing, games, art, and toys. A few dancers did lively polkas in front of the gazebo. Bratwurst and German potato salad made a wonderful lunch, along with a glass of cold German beer! A kid’s activity area had a giant slide and bounce house. Tents provided shade for eating, relaxing, and watching the entertainment. The German American Club of the Treasure Coast sponsored the event. Admission was free, but proceeds for the food and drinks went to the road to Victory museum.
