The 21st Annual Port St. Lucie Saint Patrick Day’s Festival
Slainte! Fáilte roimh an bhféile, or welcome to the festival! To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, the Friendly Sons and Daughters of Ireland, Shindig Irish Pub, and other sponsors host a wonderful community event complete with a carnival, food, music, shopping, and of course, beer. Shindig offers the most delicious Corned Beef sandwich I have ever eaten and a Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner. Other foods at the festival include catfish, barbeque, hot dogs, ice cream, and burgers. Vendors offer clothing, sunglasses, jewelry, and handcrafted items. The carnival has lots of rides and games. The Rowdy Micks are among the entertainers. It’s a fun day for family and friends. Admission is free! Enjoy, or taitneamh a bhaint as, as they say in Ireland!
