Great Lakes Medieval Faire – 2010

Welcome, good gentles, to the Great Lakes Medieval Faire! Hail and well met! Enter the gates of Avonloch to enjoy the best of the 13th century! Meet King Richard the Lionhearted, Knights Templar, Queen Berengaria of Spain, barbarians, and pirates. There is jousting, danger acts, comedy, music, and children’s activities in the Children’s Realm. Some of the excellent entertainers are The Da Vinci Brothers, Johnny Phoenix, Owain Phyfe, Broon, and Axel the Sot. There is plenty of food: turkey legs, seafood, salads, pastries, and more. Beware! King John is plotting against good King Richard! Come watch Richard overthrow the plot as you wander through the forest! The faire is open weekends in mid July through mid August, from 11 a.m. until 7 a.m. Adult tickets are $22, while children’s are $4, 95. Special passes and advance discounts are available. The faire is located near Cleveland on SR 534, in Rock Creek, Ohio.
