BALD HEADED BISTRO

The Bald Headed Bistro in Cleveland, Tennessee is a gem!  Located in a corner of The Village Green Shopping Center, it could be overlooked.  Once inside, the eclectic décor tells us this is no ordinary restaurant!  This is extraordinary!  The service is excellent and the food is marvelous!  Our waiter, Eddie, was charming, knowledgeable, and efficient.  From the beginning to end of the meal, we enjoyed our interaction with him.  We chose a high end dinner, but there are meals for a more wallet friendly budget.  We both ordered the BHB Wild Game Platter, for $36 each.  We had elk tenderloins, Kentucky bison, and quail with remoulade with roasted potatoes and a juniper-cabernet sauce.  We savored every bite!   For desert, we shared a molten chocolate cake with ice cream, at Eddie’s suggestion.  Delectable!  We also had a bottle of fine Merlot that complemented the meal.  The presentation was flawless, and the atmosphere is wonderful.  Josh, the manager, is friendly and experienced.   If you are looking for something more wallet friendly, there is a 3 course meal for only $25.  A full selection of appetizers, salads, dinners, lunches, sides, bar menu, wine, and desserts is available.   This is an experience not to be missed!  We will return at the first opportunity!  Cleveland is near Chattanooga, and The Village Green Shopping Center is on Keith Street.

UPDATE!   We had a chance to visit again!   This time, we tried the special: a four course meal for $30.  We had a choice in the appetizer, salad, and entree.  Dessert was an oatmeal cookie tart with vanilla ice cream drizzled with carmel sauce.  It was excellent, and our server Brad was, too!
