The GA Pig BBQ

      Just off I-95 exit 29 in Brunswick, Ga is our favorite BBQ stop!  We plan to go by at meal time!  The GA Pig offers the most delicious smoked pork, beef, ribs, and sausage around!  Done on an open pit, this is the real deal.  For $4.49, you get a sandwich with lots of meat and as much sauce as you like.  For dinner, you can order one, two, three or four meats and two sides.  Sides include Southern favorites potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw, and Brunswick Stew. Order at the counter and then sit at one of the picnic tables.  Paper towels are on the tables, because you might get a little messy.  They’ll call you when your order is ready.  Tea, hot sauces, plasticware, and condiments are on a table in the center.  Help yourself.  You’ll hear the chop, chop, chop of the cleaver.  Pigs of various kinds decorate the walls.  There’s a lot of charm here.  The best part of the GA Pig is the food, of course!  I love the pork!  Greg loves the ribs and their own special sauce. We’d recommend eating there!
