   Welcome to offthetrails.com! We are the website that takes you off the beaten path, the road less traveled, and unusual places. Our adventures include hiking, whitewater rafting, snorkeling, scuba diving, zip lining, camping, festivals, museums, historic sites, Eco tours, and many other activities. Your adventure is waiting! We are a travel/cooking/educational website for the adventurous traveler who wants uncommon experiences, and wants to be aware of costs and time frames so they can budget their time and money. We want you to have more vacation value for less money, so we research places to stay, eat, see, and fun and exciting things to do, for couples, singles, families, or groups of friends. We explore the USA as well as other parts of the world. We look at the big cities, national parks, small towns, and unique sights. Whether you are a history buff, an art lover, an adventurer, or a family fun person, we’ll have something for you! We hope you’ll subscribe. We are looking forward to sharing with you, and we welcome your comments. Check often for updates and additions.   One adventure took us through the coastal Carolinas, wild West Virginia, the haunted Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, Mansfield’s haunted Ohio State Reformatory, and  Amish Country, Ohio.  We sightsee, sample local cuisine, camp, zip, hike, and canoe.   Our fun involves pirates and Renaissance Faires – fire-eating, fairies, music, and royalty! Our most recent adventures involves paranormal investigations! We have communicated with someone! We’ve been to the Italian Club in Tampa, Florida and the Viking Cemetery in Fort Pierce most recently. We have several investigations scheduled, so check back soon! They are at Miss Caroline’s B & B in St. Augustine, other sites in St. Augustine, Fl and the Cuban Club in Tampa, FL.
