Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania, the Quaker State, is a state of diverse geography, climate and culture.  Pittsburgh, in the southwest, is a city of universities, hospitals, hills, rivers, cold winters, hot summers, and a blend of today and history.  Philadelphia, in the east, is a cradle of American Independence.  It’s in an area of plains and farms, with milder temperatures than “the Burg.”  In between, are small towns, cities, forest, farmland, history, growing communities, military history, formal gardens, science centers, the Amish, sports arenas, and performing arts centers.  There is also Harrisburg, the state capitol.   The cultures of Italians, Germans, Slovenes, Irish, Poles, Africans, and many more contributed to modern Pennsylvanian culture.  There is so much to see and do in Pennsylvania.  Take the back roads and discover the hidden treasures that are off the trails.
