Virginia Chicken

 

5 Chicken Breasts

¼ Cup Butter or Margarine

½ Tbsp. Flour

1 Cup Tomato Juice or V8

1 Cup Chicken Stock

¾ Cup Mushrooms

1/3 Cup Diced Celery

½ Cup Sliced Carrots

Salt and Pepper to taste

Brown the chicken in a skillet in the butter.  Brown flour in that pan.  Then add liquids and veggies.  Add chicken.  Combine all together in baking pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.  Serve with rice or noodles.

 

 

Spiced Apple Cider

 

1 Gallon Sweet Cider

3 Cinnamon Sticks

1 Tbsp. Whole Cloves

Combine all ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.
